Is shakespeare's play an accurate portrayal of history? why or why not/

Shakespeare actually took factual events and made them fictional. Although the people and base story existed Shakespeare added the dialogue and drama. It is impossible to know exactly what was said or how it happened, so Shakespeare fictionalized it.
