You need to calculate the distance traveled by the fly. That distance is actually spatial diagonal of the room. Formula for space diagonal of cuboid is

`d=sqrt(a^2+b^2+c^2)`

where `a,b,c` are lengths of the edges of the cuboid. So in your case you have

`d=sqrt(3^2+4^2+5^2)=sqrt(50)=5sqrt(2)`

**The displacement is** `5sqrt(2)"m"approx7.071"m".`
