- Adolf Hitler came to power in Germany. His actions once in power were instrumental in leading to WWII.
- Franklin D. Roosevelt took office in January of 1933. His New Deal changed American government forever. He was also important for his leadership in WWII.
- This was the decade of the Great Depression. The Depression ruined economies around the world.
- Japan became more and more militaristic and aggressive in this decade. Its invasion of China and other such actions eventually led to WWII in Asia.
This was a decade in which some tremendously important things happened, so there are many possible important facts. Let us look at a few of the most important facts about this decade.
