The figure shows two blocks, one with mass 10 kg placed on the other with mass 5 kg. The coefficient of friction between the block with mass 10 kg and the block with mass 5 kg is 0.1 and the coefficient of friction between the block with mass 5 kg and the ground is 0.3

The frictional force between two bodies is equal to the product of the normal force between them and the coefficient of friction. The the given problem, the normal force between the block with mass 5 kg and the ground is (5 +10)*10 = 150 N. The frictional force is 150*0.3 = 45 N.

The frictional force between the 5 kg block and the ground is 45 N.
