It is given that the proportion of homes with fire extinguishers is 0.8
If a large number of homes are randomly selected it is found that 0.8 of the homes have a fire extinguisher or the mean number of homes with a fire extinguisher is `mu` = 0.8
The null hypothesis refers to the criterion that is being assumed to be true.
In the problem, the null hypothesis is `H_0` : `mu` = 0.8
The alternative hypothesis refers to the case where the null hypothesis is not true.
Here, the alternative hypothesis would be `H_1` : `mu != 0.8`
