The null hypothesis refers to the criterion that is being assumed to be true.
In the problem, the null hypothesis is `H_0` : `mu` = 0.8
The alternative hypothesis refers to the case where the null hypothesis is not true.
Here, the alternative hypothesis would be `H_1` : `mu != 0.8`
