Polynominal Equations:

1)  (8n^3-2n^4)(3n^5)

2)  (5x^8+4x^4+2x^3+11x^2)2x^2

3)  (4d(8d-11)

Simplify into standard form.

1) (8n^3 - 2n^4)(3n^5)

= 24n^8 - 6n^9

= 6n^8 ( 4 - n) =====> n = 0  or n = 4

 2) (5x^8 + 4x^4 + 2x^3 + 11x^2) 2x^2

  = 10x^10 + 8x^6 + 4x^5 + 22x^4

  = 2x^4 ( 5x^6 + 4x^2 + 2x + 11)

 ======> x = 0

3) d = 0   or d= 11/8 = 1.375

The instructions say to Simplify into Standard Form. Without knowing if there is = 0  the answers will be:

1.   6n^8 ( 4 - n)

2.   2x^4 ( 5x^6 + 4x^2 + 2x + 11)

3.   32d^2 - 44d
