The solution set of the inequalities 3a + 10 > 13 or a - 4 < 10 has to be determined.

3a + 10 > 13

=> 3a > 3

=> a > 1

a - 4 < 10

=> a < 14

As a should satisfy the inequality 3a + 10 > 13 or a - 4 < 10, this gives a > 1 or a < 14. This is true for all real values of a.

The required solution set is R
