Coriolanus' current hatred of the Romans is most deadly of all to his family, as his betrayal is a double betrayal not only to Rome, but to them as they will bear the brunt of the anger aimed toward him.  Also they can't pray for him to lose, as they love him, but if they pray for him to win, Rome loses.  It's a no-win situation.
