please explain this following poem

Toad

hop, hop. hop again.

hunch, lunch. hunch on then

streetlight starer,

waistcoat wearer

every night- remember?

cornor blinker, eyes that come on,

hometown calm one-

toward stars you stared,

a look moths rode

stars are still there,

summer slummer,

soft night ;earner,

kind of a drain for sound,

reminding of canyons in the ocean

and of how birds dream their songs,

But gone from your side, vortex for nouse,

I have not found, blinker of worlds,

any dreamer who stood

so slouch in the mud

as you, at the corner each night.
