A plastic shpere and a metal sphere, both neutral are placed in an electric fiels and separated from each other. The diameter of the spheres are 1 cm and 5 cm respectively. If the small sphere gets a charge of -12x10^-9C, what is the charge of the metal sphere?

We know

  `Q_1+Q_2=4xx10^(-9)C`  ,

where `Q_1,Q_2 `  are respectively charges on small and big spere.

`-12xx10^(-9)+Q_2=4xx10^(-9)`

`Q_2=4xx10^(-9)+12xx10^(-9)`

`=16xx10^(-9) C`
