What are Oliver's feelings at both the beginning and the end of "Stop Thief"?

Although in my copy the chapters aren't named, I'm assuming you are referring to Chapter 10, when Oliver first goes out to "work" with the Artful Dodger and Charlie Bates.
At the beginning of that chapter, Oliver is eager and excited to be allowed to go out with the boys. At the end of the chapter, after the Dodger and Charlie Bates have picked a gentleman's pocket and run off laughing while Oliver takes the blame, Oliver is frightened and bewildered.
