I need a toilet paper free of formaldehyde and bleach due to cancer health problems. What brand fits my needs?

You are essentially looking for Earth friendly (or "green") toilet paper that is specifically free of chlorine bleach and formaldehyde due to health concerns. This is something of a win-win situation since most paper products that are skin health friendly are also more environmentally friendly as well and focus less on excessive processing and more on minimizing processing and impact. The Greenpeace organization has published a list of environmentally friendly paper products including toilet paper. Some of the recommended brands found include Trader Joe's, Seventh Generation, and Earth Friendly Products. All of these are dye, perfume, and chlorine bleach free. The only one that I can find that specifically lists it as also being formaldehyde free is Earth Friendly Products. They use no formaldehyde and the whitening comes from oxygenation, not chlorine bleach. This is probably not sold in most stores near you but it can be purchased from any number of online suppliers. I hope this helps you.
