The equation of the line 5x + 6y = -30 has to be written in the slope-intercept form y = mx + b.

5x + 6y = -30

Isolate 6y to one side

=> 6y = -5x - 30

Divide both sides by 6

=> `y = (-5/6)*x - 5`

The required form of the equation is `y = (-5/6)*x - 5`
