I need to "Epxplain whether each function is expontential" for the following numbers:

f(x)=4x(to the 9th power)

How do you find it?

Function `f(x)=4x^9` is not exponential function. It is a polynomial of ninth degree.

For function to be *exponential* the variable (`x`) must be in *exponent*.

Examples of exponential functions are:

`g(x)=e^x`

`h(x)=2^x+5`

`l(x)=10^(3x-7)`
