The cost of entering the Indianapolis Children's Museum is $5 more for an adult than it is for a child. Let the cost of admission for a child be X, the cost of admission for an adult is X + 5. The total cost of admission for two adults and two children is $14.

This gives X + X + X + 5 + X + 5 = 14

=> 4X = 4

=> X = 1

The cost of entry for a child is $1 and that for an adult is $6.

**The cost of entry for 2 adults is $12 and each child can enter the museum for $1.**

Let be C for child and A for Adult: We have:

`2a + 2c= 14$` now we know that `a= c+5$`

by subsitution we get:

`2(c+5$)+2c=14$`

developing:

`2c +10$ +2c = 14$`

set it strigth:

`4c+10$=14$`

subtracting 1o$ both sides:

`4c+10$ -10$= 14$ - 10$`

that is: `4c=4$` `c= 1$`

therefore `a=6$` and two adults spends `12$` and `1$` per child
