When displacement beetween two group will 10km ,they will loss contact.Let O be the rgne from where they have started walking.One group move upto NW and and group move upto SW. The distance between NW and SW is 10 Km. Triangle NW O SW is right angle triangle ,right angle at O.

Thus

`Cos (25)= (ONW)/10`

`ONW=10xx cos(25)=9.06 Km`

one group will move towards N W 9.06 Km.

`Cos(65)=(OSW)/10`

`OSW=10xx cos(65)= 4.23 Km`

Another group will move upto 4.23 Km ,when they will loss contact.
