I want to say that there are several aspects of chemistry in the movie "Flubber." The chemical change or reaction occurs and changes the material from a liquid into a type of material that is neither solid nor liquid. The chemical reaction also causes the material to change colors. In addition, heat is used to cause the chemical change.
Heat is energy so the other chemistry is the chemistry of heat called thermodynamics is addressed; the melting point temperature of the material used. The types of elements that were mixed together to form the formula are found on the periodic table which lists all of the elements.
