When Learning how to create formulas and functions.

These are essential tasks when creating professional looking worksheets Taking the time to learn these features will benefit people as Excel users and organization reputation for professionalism What are three facts or reasons that will support peoples decisions to use these features in the future why do people feel that using these features is important.

1) It is easier to have Excel to do the math for you. If you sat and did all of the math by hand, you have room for error. If Excel does all of the math, the chance of an error is quite small.

2) It is quicker than doing all of the math by hand. You can type in a long or complicated formula one time. You can then use that formula over and over without having to change anything but the numbers. Excel will compute the answers in seconds.

3) It can organize your data in ways that would take you hours by hand. Think of a list of 200 names that you want to sort by the first letter. You can program Excel to do this or you can write all of the names down and chance a mistake.

Excel is very easy to use, and the function tools are very user friendly as well. The best thing about using the tools is that you can add to the worksheet and it will automatically calculate. You can also create nifty charts and graphs with the push of a button that can be inserted in other documents.
