Major Themes

Hi there! I'm starting reading this book and I have to make a review.

However, I do not have much time because I have to do more papers.

Could somebody say to me wich are the main themes and symbols of the story?

People are more important than property. I think this is an important theme to this book. Clearly, the shallow lifestyle does have its advantages. However, in the end the results are disastrous. Maybe be reading a story like this we can avoid learning the lesson the hard way.

Thanks for your apportation.

I'm reading the book and I see that marriage and social status seem to be important in the book.

Is it important "Marriage" and the "Social position" in this story?
