log 2 (2x-3) = 3

==> 2x -3 = 2^3

==> 2x -3 = 8

Now add 3 to both sides:

==> 2x = 8+3

==> 2x= 11

==> x= 11/2= 5.5

2x-3 = 2^3

2x = 2^3 + 3 = 11

x = 11/2
