Juan deposited $300 consisting of tens and twenties into his bank account. He deposited 6 more tens than twenties. Let the number of twenties deposited be N, the number of tens deposited is N + 6.

N*20 + (N +6)*10 = 300

=> 20N + 10N + 60 = 300

=> 30N = 240

=> N = 8

Juan deposited 8 twenties and 14 tens.
