The infrared frequency of the CX vibration for CH3X 
depends on all the three: mass of X, strength of C-X bond and type of CX vibration (stretch or bend). It is a rather straightforward question, which just requires proper study. You can find more about it on research paper. You could also find some information, not complete, in a book by Raymond Chang about chemistry.
