The equation `4^(x^2-4)=1024` has to be solved

`4^(x^2-4)=1024`

=> `4^(x^2-4)= 4^5`

As the base is the same equate the exponent

`x^2 - 4 = 5`

=> `x^2 = 9`

=> `x = +-3`

The solution of the equation `4^(x^2-4)=1024` is `+-3`
