In system of linear inequalities ,there are are infinite number of solution sets.Infact  in case  of inequality ,solution is not a point but its solution is half of the plain. For example  `x+y<3` let draw its graph

Graph divides pain into two parts one part contains orine and another part opposite of this origin.Any point in the region in which origin lies ,satisfy the given inequality.So it has finite number of solution.

consider system of inequalities

`x+y<3 and x+y<=2`

The solution set of system of  inequalities is region below/on blue line.Observe t has a infinte number of solution.
