The country of Fiji is composed of over 332 islands and of those only 106 are permanently inhabited islands. However, there are actually hundreds more small islets in Fiji, but only these 332 islands are considered big enough for humans to possibly live on and most of the other tiny isles are covered by water during high tides.
Of the 106 inhabited islands, 87% of the country's population of almost 850,000 people live on two main islands. Viti Levu and Vanua Levu are the islands that serve as the home to the majority of Fiji's population as well as its capital city of Suva
