Of course, you can make these into complete sentences in a lot of different ways. It just depends on how you want your story to come out. For example:
When Jermaine told his boss that he would be taking paternity leave, his boss fed him to a hungry shark.
Jermaine's wife nursed him back to health because Jermaine is such a supportive husband.
Before Jermaine was married he had no one to help him when he was attacked by sharks.
Jermaine and his wife have been hoping for a baby girl.
If you don't think your teacher would appreciate those first three, you could have them come out differently:
When Jermaine told his boss that he would be taking paternity leave, Jermaine's boss was surprised.
Jermaine's wife was overcome with love because Jermaine is such a supportive husband.
Before Jermaine was married he had not realized how happy being married would make him.
