How does Simon convince Daniel to attend the synagogue?

He invites him, which doesn't do much of the job, but he also mentions that there's a man he wants Daniel to meet. That, combined with Simon carrying "a bundle on the Sabbath" (doing work, which is forbidden by Jewish law), convinces Daniel that this is very serious for Simon, and so he goes to see this man.

Simon Convinced Daniel to attend to the synagogue with the fact that Simon told Daniel that there is going to be a man how will be talking but he is a zealot.
