How do you solve for this problem ?

A surveyor measures the angle of elevation to a point on a mountain that is 4 miles away to be 18 degrees. The vertical change in elevation from the point where the surveyor is standing to the point on the mountain is------ miles.(round your answer to the nearest hundredth of a mile).

If the inclined distance of the point on the mountain is 4 miles from the surveyor then the vertical change in elevation is 4.sin(18degree) which is equal to 1.24 Miles

The vertical change in elevation of the point on mountain and the surveyor is 1.24 miles.
