If f:R---->R is a straight line that cut the y-axis at(b,3), where

f(x)=6x-a . Find the value of 2a+7b ?

Answer:

f(x) intersect y axis at (b,3) => b=0

f(a)=6a-a

f(a)=5a

a=(1/5)f(a)

Thus

2a+7b=2(1/5)f(a)+7x0

2a+7b=(2/5)f(a)
