Fear is an emotional response to threats and danger, it is a basic survival response to a specific stimulus such as pain or the threat of pain. With that said, you must ask yourself a few questions: Am I trying to avoid pain? Or is there a threat of pain involved? Is there a great reward involved? With every great reward, there is a fear that must be overcome. Something else to consider is that fear is grounded in selfishness. If there is no desire to accomplish the task, one must ask themselves, "Am I being selfish for the sake of self-preservation?" Fear and Love are complete opposites.
