How do I identify the graph for the points E(-1,3,-1) in three-dimensional space?

The point is one unit in the negative x direction, 3 units in the positive y direction, and 1 unit in the negative z direction or if the coordinate system is in standard position 1 unit back, 3 units right, and 1 unit down.

Note that the point is "behind" the yz-plane, and "below" the xz-plane.
