How did World War I increase the chance of World War II?

Also how did the treaties put in place after WWI, the Great Depression, Aggressive Fascism ,and Passive Democracy help the chance of WWII?

First actual use of an atomic bomb (on Hiroshima and Nagasaki).
It also completely redistributed power in Europe.
Huge damages to any counties conquered by axis.
Gave Russia strength and increased communist threat leading up to the cold war. Because they conquered many countries and did not return sovereignty.
Rise of concept of collective security. I.e. NATO(north Atlantic treaty organization) and the UN (united nations).
England no longer independent world power.
U.S. repressed German military power.
Strong ties between U.S. and Poland.
