How did the psychological constructs of continuity/discontinuity and nature/nurture manifest in JFK's life?

Continuity and discontinuity was manifest in John F. Kennedy's life in the same ways that it is manifest in everyone's life.
Continuity/discontinuity theory in developmental psychology theory specifies that some developmental changes occur slowly and gradually over time with continuity while other developmental changes occur abruptly in time with discontinuity and with sometimes no apparent preceding predictor.
These discontinuity developments sometime align with "milestones," such as walking or first steps but occur at later stages as well.
