The balanced scorecard approach is used to align and measure organizational activities with its objectives and plans, in the process improving organizational communications, performance and accountability. With the triple bottom line, we are looking at an accounting and measurement of social, financial and environmental frameworks as they apply to the organizations undertakings.

These two processes can be integrated into and organizations business ethics programs by using them as the basis of setting core ethical standards. The balanced score card can be used to set the goals that need to be met and the measurement criteria. While the triple bottom line can be used to standardize and manage the factors from which the organizational seeks to be judged by.
