Big Brother is desribed to be a "hero" of the revolution in the book, 1984. He was the one who has rebeled the old power in the society in which the government followed capitalistic system. And this kind of movement is still practiced in today society because people are still greedy for power so they will fine a way to fed their greedy appetide. If you look in the political world, you'll see that those people are the ones who control people's mind.
