I have an assessment where I have to do a speech. I need help on how I will write this speech and I don't know where to start.

This is the assessment task:

I have to choose 3 texts (which I have already chose, "Enter without so much as knocking, Americanized, and Material girl by madonna") and I will be required to discuss the techniques used by the composers and how these techniques convey their views on consumerism.

I would reccomend first starting with considering why you chose the selection you did. What do you like about them? What makes you love those songs? Sometimes it's easier to speak/write about something you love. Also, as a speaker, you'll be much more engaging for your audience if you are fully absorbed and focused in what you're doing.

Do you have any intitial thoughts on what each song conveys about consumerism? Check the lyrics, and the tone of voice used by the artist when singing. Sometimes there is satire within music.

I've never had to do an assignment like this, it sounds really cool!
