One of the most confusing things to me in this story is the family's response to the Misfit. When the Misfit tells the husband and son to walk into the woods with his henchmen, they do so without making any excuse or attempt to flee. The danger of walking to the woods should be obvious to them but they don't appear to recognize this danger.
This is a confusion as to character motivation. The events in the story are fairly clear, though the action in the woods is more implied than direclty stated.
What did you enjoy most about the story? What parts did you think were tough to understand?
