I absolutely believe in God.  I grew up in a Christian home so it has always been a part of who I am.  With that being said, I have had two profound experiences in my life that have reinforced my beliefs and helped me through tough times.

I do believe in God. I was raised in a Catholic household as  a child. As a teen I drew away from religion, God and everything to do with it. It was only later that I really found that I WANTED God in my life and I believe because I do, not because someone else told me to.

Like the third post, I was brought up in a Christian household and wandered away from religion as a young adult. I still believe in God and I attend church much more regularly now, and I know my daily prayers are being received.

I grew up in a Christian home and have never wandered away. On the contrary, my belief and understanding is growing and deepening as I spend more and more time in study and prayer. My love of and gratitude to God expands with the miracle of every day.
