`2x-3y-10 = 0`

(t,4) mus satisfy the equation.

`2t-3xx4 -10 = 0`

`2t - 12-10 = 0`

`2t = 22`

`t = 11`

The problem provides the information that the point `(t,4)`  lies on the line `2x-3y-10=0` , hence, you need to substitute t for x and 4 for y in the equation of line such that:

`2t-3*4-10 = 0`

You need to solve for t the equation `2t - 12 - 10 = 0`  such that:

`2t = 22 =gt t = 11`

Hence, evaluating the value of x coordinate of the point that lies on the given line yields t=11.
