To determine the expression of f(x^2), we'll simply replace x by x^2 in the expression of the function:

f(x^2) = 4*(x^2)^2 - 3

f(x^2) = 4x^4 - 3

The found expression of f(x^2) is f(x^2) = 4x^4 - 3
