There are a few ways you can find out an approximate value for this Bible. First, you can look for similar Bibles on ebay and see what kinds of bids are being made. Second, you can look on Craig's List for similar items to see what is being charged. Third, if you have a reputable book dealer in your city, that person should be able to provide you with an educated guess. Fourth, if you are in a major city, you might want to see if there is are any book and antique appraisal services available, although appraisal services do charge. Fifth, you might want to ask at your local library. If it has a "fine books" collection, there could be an expert curator who can help you. Finally, there is a some sort of "roadshow" that travels to cities all over the United States, inviting people to bring their antiques for appraisal. I do not know the name of the program, but I believe it is still on the air.
