In the formula,v=u+at: Find a  if v=6, u=2 and t=5.

 

 

 

Not sure if I'm right or not but I think a is equal to 0.8

If v=6, u=2 and t=5  and given formula  v=u+at .

substitute the given values in given formula.

6=2+a x 5

6-2= 5a

4=5a

4/5=a

a=0.8

So , your answer is correct.

v=6, u=2 and t=5     v=u+at 

6=2+5a    take away 2

4=5a

4/5=a

a=.8 so yep you're right
