For an outline of a story, what would be a great attention-grabber for the book, "Of Mice and Men"?

I am really confused with what to put for this and my teacher didn't really explain that much about it

Well, if the teacher didn't fully explain what was wanted, that can be frustrating (I hate that!), but we can brainstorm general ideas.

What grabs attention? Drama and dramatic delivery. Think of a movie trailer or a voiceover. What would you show for Of Mice and Men? How about something like…
HE was a gentle giant…at least until you got him scared!
SHE was a painted floozy (tramp, etc.)…while she lived!
IT was a poor little dog who never hurt anyone…and never would again!
