A Flight plane leaves the airport and flies 84km on a bearing of 60. It then turns clockwise 90° and flies for a further 13km before flying directly back to the airport. What was the total length of the flight and what is the bearing from the airport to the end of the second leg of the flight?

The airplane starts from the airport and flies 84 km with a bearing of `60^o` . It then turns clockwise by `90^o` and flies another 13 km before flying back to the the airport.

The total length of the flight is `84 + 13 + sqrt(84^2 + 13^2) = 182` km.

The bearing of the final point at the end of the second leg of the flight is `60^o + tan^-1(13/84) ~~ 68.79^o`

The total length of the flight is 182 km and the bearing of the end point of the second leg is `68.79^o`
