Find the slope of the line that contains ( -10,-10) and (-5,0)
1 Answer | add yours
If 2 points with coordinates `(x_1, y_1)` and `(x_2, y_2)` are on a line, the slope of the line is equal to `(y_2 - y_1)/(x_2 - x_1)`
The slope of the line on which the points ( -10,-10) and (-5,0) lie is given by m = `(-10 - 0)/(-10 + 5) = -10/-5 = 2`
The slope of the line is 2.
