Total area= pi.r^2 Area of shade region= pi.r^2- pi. (r/2)^2 =(3.pi)(r^2)/4 Area of favourable for the event E= (3/4)pi.r^2 Area of non favourable event =(1/4) pi.r^2 P(E)= favourable area/ total area = {(3/4)pi.r^2}/{pi.r^2} = (3/4)
