The distance between the points (6,-13) and (-9,-17) has to be determined.

Use the distance formula that gives the distance between the points `A(x_1, y_1)` and `B(x_2, y_2)` as `D = sqrt((x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2)`

The distance between (6,-13) and (-9,-17) is `sqrt((-9-6)^2+(-17+13)^2)` = `sqrt(225+16)` = `sqrt 241 ~~ 15.52`

The exact distance between the points (6,-13) and (-9,-17) is `sqrt 241` and the approximate value is 15.52 units
