It depends, Doctors usually do their physical assessment to diagnose initially what the is patient’s problem in his/her health condition, but in the case of Family doctor who suppose to notice a specific member of the family that he suspected of using an illegal drugs and acting aggressively or under the influence of drugs, he may allow to do drug testing among the patients randomly, but with a set boundary (ethical issues to be kept in mind or need to consider) as in taking in consideration the rights of the patient in his/her privacy. Before that happened the Doctor should still first to consider the autonomy of the patient whether or not to undergo testing or treatment for anything.
