`ax^2-18ax+77`

`= a(x^2-18x+77)`     since 'a' is common.

`= a(x^2-11x-7x+77)`

`= a[x(x-11)-7(x-11)]`

`= a[(x-11)(x-7)]`

`= a(x-11)(x-7)`

Therefore the complete factored form is;

`ax^2-18ax+77 = a(x-11)(x-7)`
