Factor completely: -21r-56s

We factor out the greatest common factor of the terms. This is the largest value that divides both of the terms.

To find the greatest common factor, we can factor each of the terms:

`-21r=(-1)*3*7*r`

`-56s=(-1)(2^3)(7)*s`

The common factors are (-1) and 7 so -7 is the g.c.f.

-21r-56s=(-7)(3r+8s)
